Joe was responsible for power plant engineering and construction for an international geothermal power developer focused on US, Chile and Germany. Collaborating with the geotechnical and drilling experts made these projects a career highlight. As part of the senior management team, Joe was involved in project execution, development, and acquisitions. Roles: EPC Contract Management, Development and Acquisitions.

The highlight project was the construction of a new $400 million 50 MW geothermal power plant. Joe’s employer became an equity participant in the project, and Joe’s role was to collaborate with the project team including world renowned geothermal expert John Featherstone who the plant was eventually named after.
